early to bed...?

Wow, I'm just so tired I think I might go to bed early.  At least if I get a post in I'll feel like I did something productive, and this way I won't feel so bad not posting later this week.

I have a mini paper due tomorrow afternoon that I've been working on, on-again, off-again today.  I went to the library to get out of the house, only to realize as soon as I got there that I had forgotten the book.  wow, how did that even happen?  And I just now started getting some good work done on it, when *bam!* I just got hit with exhaustion.  I think my staying up late/getting up early this weekend finally caught up with me.

So, I got a dresser!  It all happened so quickly yesterday, which is sometimes the best, you know?  I called the guy who posted it on craigslist (different guy than the one on Friday) to check the price ($60 - woo hoo!), he said I should come within the hour, called Tiffany, she came and picked me up, and we headed over to get it!  After we got it into the minivan and were driving away, it occured to us that we are 20-something women, and how in the heck were we going to get a large dresser into my room? ;)  Well, we toughed it out and took in each of the drawers one-by-one and then hauled the whole thing in.

It's Huuuge!  At first I couldn't believe how big it was, compared to my tiny twin bed in the corner.  But now that I've gotten used to it, put clothes in, and decorated around it with pictures and such, it's looking great.  I've only lived here a year... lol  And I'm so so happy that it matches my desk! Not exactly, but considering I bought them from two different sources...I'm so happy! :)  It's the little things, y'know?

So, my weekend's been pretty okay.  Not as productive in the homework-front as I'd like, but it's okay.  It's hard because we're really behind in one class, and we have a midterm on Thursday.  And the professor said the test will cover everything through our class on Tuesday, so I'm not sure if I should study, or prepare for Tuesday's class, which may or may not cover what's actually posted on the syllabus.  I think I'll start studying tomorrow...

And, according to some of my receipts, I've been to Wal Mart and/or Kroger almost every day in the last week. yikes.  Did I mention last year that they do Halloween BIG here?  Like, it's crazy.  And I almost bought some candy in the store but A) it's expensive, and B) I'm not sure I'll be home for the trick o'treaters.  There's a concert in the stock yards I'd like to check out since it's only $12.  We'll see what the next few weeks have in store.  Oh, and I've already seen Christmas lights out.  ay yi yi

Not to freak anyone out, but have you guys realized that November is in two weeks?  I was shocked to discover that my OB-GYN follow-up is two weeks from tomorrow.  And as far as I can tell, this stupid cyst has not gone away.  boo ovaries!  maybe I'll scare 'em outta my system! ;) (that's for you, Jess...)

Ew! Sorry about your angry ovaries... I feel like this could turn into a really spectacular series of short-comics about health problems facing young women. Hey, that is totally my idea! (TM)! (TM)!!! :) Hope you feel better chica!

Bah! I forgot to say: At least your bedroom matches... doesn't that somehow make it all better? Like a clean room when you have to write a paper? Speaking of, hope yours goes well! Lots of rest!
