The art of procrastination

Wow, I just-wow. I can't believe how much non-homework I've done today that I desperately need to do. I still haven't finished the assignment from last Monday's class, and have to do Tuesday's, so I can read another student's paper about it, and write my own by next Monday! *sigh*

Today is technically "fall break", but I wouldn't have class today anyway. Yet, something about knowing that no one else is in class convinces me to treat today like a holiday. And I've consumed waaaay too much coffee/tea/caffiene than my body knows what to do with. *jitter*

I'm waiting to hear back from Tiffany because she and Aaron have a minivan, which will be very helpful in my obtaining a dresser from Lewisville. I found one on craigslist which just might be perfect. I e-mailed the guy asking for dimensions and he responded crazy-fast. Then I tried calling the number on the listing and no answer. lol oh well, it should work out. It's listed as $125, but maybe I can get it for an even $100. I'm so bad at haggling though. So I'll probably pay $125. I'm such a wimp ;)

In other news, I returned safely from Nashville/Kentucky/Arkansas. It was a whirlwind trip, but lots of fun (see facebook photos). The last stretch from Texarkana to Dallas is the worst part. Longest three hours of my life, I swear. And I got back just in time for my Monday evening class (see above: I was not entirely prepared :P).

So this weekend I really have no plans. I met Allannah for breakfast this morning, and then came home and worked on resurrecting my computer. It's okay, but I thought maybe my antivirus software was causing me problems. Ever since I renewed my purchase in August, I'd been getting the "blue screen of death" more frequently, and last night it was completely ka-put. So I tried uninstalling it, and when I try to re-install it, it asks for a product key, and I put in the right one, and it says it doesn't work. So I don't know. I just hope the computer doesn't get swine flu or something. ;)

oh and P.S. All of y'alls posts about reading make me so sad! I wish I had time to do reading of my own, but alas I must go read two books of Emile for Monday. It's all very interesting, but seriously, last night's section was all about how to properly make your pupil adapt to sleeping habits. Yeah, cuz that didn't want me to just curl up and go to sleep right then. lol silly Rousseau

ciao
