Well, today's the first day of school. I've got class at noon and 7-10pm, so Wednesdays will be my busiest day. The last week has been pretty fun. Here's some of the highlights:
Thursday: worked in Fort Worth. on the drive home the radio station mentioned a concert that evening that I decided to check out with Sarah. we had a good time! (pics on fbook)
Friday: Janet and I made dinner and then watched a movie at her place.
Saturday: Janet and I went to Ikea and Costco (my first time!). then we had Italian for dinner and went to a movie at the dollar theater.
Sunday: lazy day. 'twas wonderful :)
Monday: Fort Worth, and then the Grad School here had an ice cream social. I met up with Tiffany, our fellow HC alum who's starting the Grad School program!
Tuesday: hung out with Tiffany, took her to lunch, showed her part of Dallas. then Janet and I had some errands in the evening. we went to a Half Price Books and it was ah-mazing. I was expecting some hole-in-the-wall but it was more like a warehouse with all kinds of books. I could see myself spending hours in there later on.
so I'm gearing up for school. My birthday's next Friday (ahem) and Janet wanted to throw me a party so we're going to have people over to my place for cake and ice cream. It's going to be a great year!
